All Dolled Up

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but my hair bows and bow holders are in my friend's local shop. They have been there since right before Christmas of last year. The shop is called All Dolled Up Salon and Boutique. The owner/cosmetologist is Sissy Sullivan and she opened her shop in November 2009, so she is still fairly new. She worked at Gilda's for ten years and after her daughter started school she decided to open her own shop. She does everything from cuts, coloring, waxing, spray tans (by hand), etc. She also has jewelry, purses, Mary Kay, and so much more (oh, and let's not forget about my stuff:). There is also monogramming available. And last but not least she does glamour birthday parties for little girls on Saturdays. She has a little something for everyone and her prices are very reasonable. Her hours of operation are Mon., Wed., Fri. 9-5 and Tues. and Thurs. 9-7. Closed on Sat. and Sun. She is located in Northport on Watermelon Rd. right across from Sunset Funeral Home and her number is 205-462-3191. So stop by and take a look at her stuff and don't for get to book your hair appt.

New bows coming soon!

I have been working on some really cute hair bows. Can't wait til i'm done so I can post some pics. They are all different sizes and styles. Will have the basic boutique style and pinwheel and working on some multi-layer spike and loop bows too. Have all new fun colors for this spring and summer. So please check back with me. And don't forget Tannehill Trade Days are March 20-21. Can't wait. I really hope it's going to be nice that weekend. Oh and one more thing; i'm going to start making those boutique style bow flip flops for the spring/summer. You know, the cute flip flops you see that are wrapped in ribbon and have a bow attached. Yes i'll be making them. Yay! Just in time for spring and summer. I don't think i'll have them ready for the March show since I have so many easter bows i'm working on right now, but I will for sure have them ready for the April 17-18 Tannehill Show. Will be posting pics soon!

Worst Trade Day Ever

Ok so we will never do another show in Tuscaloosa ever again. The women at the Phelps Center do not know what they are doing. The set up was horrible...had people in different rooms and in the hall. They did not advertise at all. I seen one orange sign on the second day that said T-Town Trade Days with an arrow. That was it! Everyone was disappointed. Did not have one single customer on sunday. It was a waste of our time and money. When we got there friday night to set up we noticed they only gave me and my sister-n-law one spot and we paid to for two. Well when we seen the set up and just a few booths that didn't really have that much stuff we just asked for our money back on the second booth, but that worked out to our advantage because at least we get some money back on that crappy show. My sister-n-law didn't even make booth money, but I did but not much more. She only sold a door hanger and 12 comic books and I sold four hair bows, two bow holders, and a picture frame. We are very disappointed with that center. It was the worst show ever! But it will be ok. We will be fine. We have Tannehill in 3 weeks and we know that there will be plenty of people there and we should make plenty of money. Hopefully! I will be adding new pictures soon so check back with me.
